About

Many principles of good psychotherapy trace their origins to the biology of the body, in particular the nervous system and its interdependent networks with the immune, endocrine, and digestive system.

In this course, we will explore the micro and macro anatomy of the nervous system, brain development, memory across a lifespan, and sensorimotor and emotional processing. We will delve into how the structures of the body generate body function, and how body function and psychological states inter-relate. Implications for how to work clinically will be centralized.

Module 1: Micro and Macro Anatomy of the Nervous System – An Overview
Students will learn the basic cellular structures of the nervous system, as well as the larger regions of the brain, with an eye to understanding how these structures operate to generate body regulation, emotion, memory, and consciousness.

Module 2: Brain Development, Learning, & Memory Across the Lifespan
In each phase of life, the brain learns and changes. This module overviews the basic phases of brain development, with special emphasis on how they construct memory systems. We will discuss the implications for clinical work across the lifespan.

Module 3: Sensorimotor Processing
When sensation is processed, the processed information is sent to the motoric centers of the brain, in order to organize a response. How movement is organized and executed is fundamental to our feelings of safety, self-efficacy, and wellbeing. This module will study the ways in which sensation and movement expression can be used deliberately to conduct MBT.

Module 4: Emotional Processing
The neuroscience of emotion has been a hotly debated topic for decades. In this module we will begin by defining and describing emotions, and look at the various ways they are categorized. By studying the anatomy and physiology of emotion, we can better understand how to use emotional processing effectively and safely in MBT.

Students who take this course will:
The basic cellular structures and brain regions of the nervous system
The brain structures and neurotransmitters associated with emotional processing
The development of the brain from the fetal time to the elder years
How to leverage the brain’s developmental plasticity for therapeutic change
Types of sensation and their implications for MBT
The sequence of events from sensory stimulation to responsive action
How sensory processing organizes the movement centers of the brain towards a response
How enriched movement experiences can promote well being
The physiology of emotional processes to better facilitate clients in feeling feelings

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Innovative Business Model:
    • Embrace the reality of a genuine business! Our approach involves forming a group buy, where we collectively share the costs among members. Using these funds, we purchase sought-after courses from sale pages and make them accessible to individuals facing financial constraints. Despite potential reservations from the authors, our customers appreciate the affordability and accessibility we provide.
  2. The Legal Landscape: Yes and No:
    • The legality of our operations falls into a gray area. While we lack explicit approval from the course authors for resale, there’s a technicality at play. When procuring the course, the author didn’t specify any restrictions on resale. This legal nuance presents both an opportunity for us and a boon for those seeking budget-friendly access.
  3. Quality Assurance: Unveiling the Real Deal:
    • Delving into the heart of the matter – quality. Acquiring the course directly from the sale page ensures that all documents and materials are identical to those obtained through conventional means. However, our differentiator lies in going beyond personal study; we take an extra step by reselling. It’s important to note that we are not the official course providers, meaning certain premium services aren’t included in our package:
      • No coaching calls or scheduled sessions with the author.
      • No access to the author’s private Facebook group or web portal.
      • No entry to the author’s exclusive membership forum.
      • No direct email support from the author or their team.

We operate independently, aiming to bridge the affordability gap without the additional services offered by official course channels. Your understanding of our unique approach is greatly appreciated.

Refund is acceptable:

  • Firstly, item is not as explained
  • Secondly, Item do not work the way it should.
